Optik SW, founded in 2022, is a band from Münster, Germany that has its roots in post-punk and darkwave music. It consists of drummer Bennett Krieger, bassist Leo Schroot, guitarist and vocalist Leon Ecker (DYNAM!K) and second vocalist Jonathan Enking (Jonny), who switches between playing synth and guitar. Their sound combines the monotonous drums and bass of wave music with powerful guitar and vocals of classic post-punk and the German "Neue Deutsche Welle" movement.
